A current trending topic has been for Muslims to openly condemn Ebola. *Gasp* But why is this a trend and why is it so funny? News anchors on mainstream media, as well as smaller outlets, always ask why Muslims don’t denounce the actions of extremists and terrorists abroad and within the United States. Interesting tidbit is that they do, ALL THE TIME. Of course, that isn’t newsworthy or obviously too hard to report on and use in an argument so it’s ignored instead. Condemning Ebola is a way for Muslims to showcase how ridiculous the media sounds regarding Muslims. A majority of Muslims are against militant groups such as ISIS, yet the media continues to use the same tired irrelevant points over and over again.

“Talk is cheap, why aren’t you taking action? Show me what you’ve done to actually stop Ebola. And if enough Muslims had really condemned Ebola like you claim, it wouldn’t be spreading, now would it?” said one user, mocking the regular discourse against the Islamic faith."
“Google ‘Muslims rally against Ebola’.. There have been marches worldwide. Its [sic] not our fault that Fox and CNN ignore our condemnation.”
“There have been like what? a couple of hundreds? The vast majority of muslims never protest Ebola. They are happy about it. The protests against Ebola are just to provide a cover to those who are happy about it”
